What We Do

What Drives Us

At APEG, we are more than just an organisation; we are a movement that envisions a world where policies address real challenges and create tangible impact. We believe that policies should break down barriers, bridge gaps, and provide equal opportunities for everyone.

By actively engaging with various stakeholders, that includes government and multilateral organisations, non-profits, social enterprises, start-ups, private businesses, industry associations, we aim to create an inclusive and equitable ecosystem.

Our Core Areas

Healthcare:

We realise that India urgently needs a comprehensive healthcare policy that ensures equitable access to quality healthcare for all citizens. Hence our priorities include working towards increased public healthcare spending, strengthening primary care infrastructure, addressing disparities, promoting preventive healthcare, and leveraging technology for improved health outcomes. We need to recognize that collaboration between stakeholders is essential for effective implementation.

Technology:

Our technology-focused policy advocacy addresses the impact of technology on society, privacy, and regulation. We analyse and influence policies related to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital infrastructure. We also advocate for responsible technology use, ethical AI development, and appropriate regulations to balance innovation and public interest.

Development Sector:

At our core, we are committed to being instrumental in shaping the trajectory of the development sector. Through meticulous research, grounded in evidence-based analysis, and the creation of innovative policy solutions, we endeavor to make a tangible impact. By pinpointing the critical challenges, proposing viable strategies, and cultivating collaboration among stakeholders, our aim is to spearhead sustainable development efforts, mitigate social inequalities, and foster inclusive growth for a prosperous economy across various sectors.

Agriculture:

Our advocacy in agriculture and agritech focuses on agricultural development, food security, and technology integration. APEG works on policies related to sustainable farming practices, access to agricultural resources, rural development, and the adoption of innovative agritech solutions. We often engage with farmers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to shape policies that support agricultural sustainability and productivity.

Sustainability:

Our sustainability policy advocacy addresses environmental, social, and economic sustainability challenges. We work on policies related to climate change mitigation, conservation, renewable energy, and responsible resource management. We advocate for environmentally friendly practices, green technologies, and policies that balance economic growth with ecological and social well-being.
